  • Virtual Ethernet Adapter may go into dead state.
entstat or netstat command will fail on the device because it
can not read VEA device.
Communication to/from vio client lpar using
SEA will stop working.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Virtual ethernet driver is fixed to prevent speculative
execution of code.
