Error description
Error Message: N/A . Stack Trace: N/A . Performance of interface dispatch can be affected when a current method calls a resolved interface method that was recently recompiled to a higher optimization level. This will only affect the 31bit JVM running on z systems.
Local fix
Problem summary
The problem is caused by the JIT compiler not updating a resolved interface method in an interface dispatch sequence after that method was recompiled, causing the interface dispatch to call a less optimal version of the resolved method.
Problem conclusion
The JIT compiler has been updated to generate code for interface dispatch so that the optimal version of a resolved method is called. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR3 (8.0.3.0) . Contact your IBM Product's Service Team for these Service Refreshes and Fix Packs. For those running stand-alone, information about the available Service Refreshes and Fix Packs can be found at: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/
