IV81503: MULTIBOS MAY FAIL TO MOUNT OR REMOVE A STANDBY INSTANCE APPLIES TO AIX 6100-09

Error description

  * USERS AFFECTED:
  * Systems running the AIX 6100-09 Technology Level or
  * VIOS 2.2.4.x
  * with bos.rte.bosinst at the 6.1.9.100 level.
  ***************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  * This only affects users of multibos.
  *
  * After creating a multibos instance and booting to it,
  * multibos will be unable to perform some operations
  * on the original (now the standby) instance.
  * Mounting the standby instance with 'multibos -m'
  * or removing the standby instance with 'multibos -XR'
  * will fail with errors about a filesystem or LV being
  * in use.
  *
  * This fix needs to be applied before creating the
  * multibos instance to prevent these problems from
  * occuring after booting to the new instance.
  *
  *
  * If you have already booted to the new instance and
  * discovered that multibos is failing operations on
  * the standby instance as described above, then
  * there is a local fix which will correct things temporarily.
  *
  * If the active instance is booted on the blv bos_hd5 run the
  * following commands:
  * # chfs -a dev=/dev/hd4 /bos_inst
  * # chfs -a dev=/dev/hd2 /bos_inst/usr
  * # chfs -a dev=/dev/hd9var /bos_inst/var
  * # chfs -a dev=/dev/hd10opt /bos_inst/opt
  *
  * If the active instance is booted on the blv hd5 run the
  * following commands:
