  * Using the procmap, procldd, or genld command on a 32 bit
  * process, or directly reading /proc/<pid>/map for a 32 bit
  * process, may result in kernel memory corruption which may
  * result in an immediate or future crash of the system.

  * This only affects AIX 7.1 TL4 and 7.2

Problem conclusion

• Fix the kernel code that generates the /proc/<pid>/map data.
  The procmap reads this data, however, user processes can also
  access the file directly if they have sufficient privilege to
  do so.
