Error description

  • After a resource fails to be acquired (for example an
Application Controller), its Resource Group may end
up being ONLINE at both nodes.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • If resource group acquisisition fails (for example, an
application start script fails) on the primary node of a
resource group, the group will be started on the backup node
and a second instance may also be started on the primary node.
