• Closed as program error.

Error description

• You attempt to discard a CMAS to CMAS Link using the CICS
  Explorer. It fails, returning the following messages:
  .
     If the target CMAS is not running, you receive:
  .
        CNX0593E: RESPONSE(INVALIDPARM) REASON(CONTEXT)
  .
     If the target CMAS is running, you receive:
  .
        CNX0593E: RESPONSE(NODATA)
  .
  The CICS Explorer log trace file shows a URL issued as follows
  (split over two lines:)
  .
    http://host:port/CICSSystemManagement/CICSCMASToCMASLink/
           CMASNAME?CRITERIA=((NAME=='CMASNAME'))
  .
  where CMASNAME is the name of the CMAS you are trying to
  discard, not the CMAS you have the context set to in the
  Explorer.
  .

Local fix

• Use the WUI
  

Problem summary

• Message CNX0593E issued when removing a CMTCMDEF through CICS
  Explorer.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS Explorer has been changed to set the SCOPE and CONTEXT to
  the local CMAS when removing a CMTCMDEF.
  This fix will be made available in Version 5.2.0.5 of the CICS
  Explorer.
