Error description
Error Message: JVMSHRC442E Shared cache "cacheName" is corrupt. JVMSHRC241E Error: unable to delete shared class cache file JVMSHRC336E Port layer error code = -308 JVMSHRC337E Platform error message: No such file or directory . Stack Trace: N/A . The cache corruption is detected by multiple JVMs but only one JVM continues to start up.
Local fix
Try starting up the other JVMs again.
Problem summary
The problem is caused when multiple JVMs are starting up on the same shared cache and detect cache corruption at the same time.
Problem conclusion
The JVM has been updated to continue starting up when the corrupted cache is already deleted. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR1 FP10 (8.0.1.10) 6 R1 SR8 FP7 (6.1.8.7) 6 SR16 FP7 (6.0.16.7) 7 SR9 FP 10 (7.0.9.10) 7 R1 SR3 FP10 (7.1.3.10) .
