Error description
Error Message: Consecutive calls to com/ibm/dataaccess/ByteArrayMarshaller or com/ibm/dataaccess/ByteArrayUnmarshaller may return incorrect results. . Stack Trace: N/A . The problem may occur when calls to the described methods are located in the same basic block.
Local fix
This issue can be worked around using the -Xjit:disableIntrinsics option. Note however that adding this option will disable all hardware accelerated intrinsics which may impact performance.
Problem summary
The problem is caused by an incorrect transformation by the JIT compiler optimizer in which parameters between the call sites to the described methods are incorrectly transformed.
Problem conclusion
The JIT compiler optimizer has been updated to prevent the faulty transformations. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR1 (8.0.1.0) 7 R1 SR3 (7.1.3.0) .
