Error description
Error Message: The JVM crashes with VM state 0x00000000 while running compiled code, when running with -Xnocompressedrefs and -Xnoquickstart on 64-bit z/OS . Stack Trace: N/A . Failure is seen consistently when -Xnoquickstart is specified.
Local fix
The issue can be resolved by adding disableEscapeAnalysis to the IBM Java -Xjit options
Problem summary
Occasionally, the JIT compiler's Escape Analysis could use information about fields from the wrong class when generating code to initialize and use fields of objects that it chose to allocate on the stack.
Problem conclusion
The JIT compiler's Escape Analysis has been modified to use the correct information about object fields. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 7 R1 SR3 (7.1.3.0) .
