Error description

• Error Message: The JVM crashes while writing a javacore dump.
  The stack trace from the crash shows a repeated set of signal
  handler frames. The javacore dump is truncated before the LOCKS
  section.

  The Java application is running a large number of threads,
  typically around 10,000.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The problem is caused when the JVM is obtaining memory on the
  native stack used to format the javacore LOCK section.
  

Problem conclusion

• The JVM has been updated to prevent the crash from occuring when
  there are a large number of threads.
