Error description

  • AIX nfsstat command does not show the attribute cache
timeout values:

For example:
> mount -o actimeo=3600 nfsserver:/images /mnt


Mount output shows the timeout value took effect.
However,
nfsstat command won't display this:

> nfsstat -m
/mnt from /mnt:nfsserver
 Flags:
vers=3,proto=tcp,auth=unix,hard,intr,dynamic,link,symlink
,rsize=32768,wsize=32768,retrans=5
 All:     srtt=0 (0ms), dev=0 (0ms), cur=0 (0ms)
