* Systems running the AIX 6100-08 Technology Level
* with devices.chrp.base.rte below the 6.1.8.21 level.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
* LPAR Migration (LPM) from p6 or p7 systems to p7+ or p8
* systems will add some information about new accelerators
* to the IPL Control Block (IPLCB).
* After LPM, some DLPAR functions, like adding CPU, can
* overwrite the new information in the IPLCB.
* After LPM and DLPAR operations, various parts of AIX may
* access and use the bad data in the IPLCB in ways that result
* in the LPAR crashing.

* RECOMMENDATION:
* Install APAR IV71109.
* Prior to fix availability, an interim fix is available from
* either
* ftp://aix.software.ibm.com/aix/ifixes/iv71109/
* https://aix.software.ibm.com/aix/ifixes/iv71109/
* This ifix can be installed before or after LPM to prevent
* the problem and does not require a reboot.
