Error description

  • This APAR updates the level of GSKit8 supplied with MQ as
    follows:
    
    For MQ 7.0.1, 7.1 and 7.5, the GSKit level is updated to
    8.0.14.48
    
    For MQ 8, the GSKit level is updated to 8.0.50.41

    USERS AFFECTED:
    The GSKit libraries supplied with MQ are used to provide
    cryptographic functions to the queue manager and native clients.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    AIX, HP-UX Itanium, Linux on Power, Linux on S390, Linux on x86,
    Linux on x86-64, Linux on zSeries, Solaris SPARC, Solaris
    x86-64, Windows

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    These updates are made on all platforms except for IBM iSeries
    and z/OS, which do not supply the GSKit libraries.
