IV67299: REACHED MAXIMUM NUMBER OF SESSIONS" ERROR EVEN AFTER CLOSING ALL TABS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  1. mxe.webclient.maxUISessionsPerHttpSession property is set to
  10
  2. Go to application designer
  
  3. Filter for Asset application and select it
  
  4. Click on the export button
  
  5. Repeat step 4, 8 more times
  
  6. Encounter error "You have reached the maximum number of
  sessions
  allowed for a user".
  
  7. Close 5 of the tabs
  
  8. Now try to export again, you still get the same error.
  
  
  
  Even on closing all tabs/windows except one, we can not export
  more
  than 9 XMLs at one go. Since the tabs are closed, session
  should be
  closed and it should allow us further.
  
  
  
  
  
  CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
  
  Unable to open to export more than 9 xml even after closing the
  open   tabs.
  
  
  
  EXPECTED RESULT: Should be able to open new tab after closing
  the  already open tabs

Problem conclusion

• Code change in DesignerAppBean to allow unlimited number of
  exports in app designer without reaching the UI session limit.
