Error description
There is a problem having a besclient service defined as a Solaris service. After the besclient installation on Solaris 10 or 11, the besclient service is set to disable by default. If a server is rebooted, the besclient is not started automatically and will continue to remain disabled until the service it is manually started.
Local fix
Workaround : - Log into Solaris System - Stop the BESClient - run the command: "svcadm enable BESClient" (This will add the automatic service restart to SMF Solaris system) - To verify currently installed Solaris services, run the following command: svcs -a - Reboot Solaris to verify IEM Client will now start automatically at reboot time.
