limit the growth of the default file.

Problem summary


    

  • Current the IBM.MgmtDomainRM "default" output file (found
in /var/ct/IW/log/mc/IBM.MgmtDomainRM/default) is only
checked for size and wrapping at startup.  That means
heavy activity between restarts will cause this file to
grow without bound.  In most cases MgmtDomainRM shows low
activity between restarts, so this won't be a problem
for all customers.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Size checking is now done periodically while the subsystem
is running, so growth will be controlled.
