  The symptoms of this issue can be many and varied including
  unexpected exceptions, crashes, or unexpected program values.
  This issue can only occur when a JVMTI agent is connected to the
  JVM, the agent has requested class redefinition capability and
  the application is executing in Full-Speed Debugging mode.
  

Local fix

• The problem can worked around by using the
  -Xjit:disableOSRSharedSlots option. This may cause a performance
  degradation when the application is running in full-speed
  debugging mode.
  

Problem summary

• This issue can only occur when a JVMTI agent is connected to the
  JVM, the agent has requested class redefinition capability and
  the application is executing in Full-Speed Debugging mode. A
  method that has been compiled by the JIT may try to transition
  its execution back to the interpreter, but fails to correctly
  transfer all program state to the interpreter potentially
  resulting in the program entering an invalid state or crashing.
  

Problem conclusion

• This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
     7 R1 SR1       (7.1.1.0)

  The JIT has been modified to ensure that the code it generates
  will transfer all program state when transitioning execution
  back to the interpreter.
