Local fix
Ensure the LD_LIBRARY_PATH is not an empty string
Problem summary
The JVM incorrectly frees a pointer returned by getenv if the LD_LIBRARY_PATH is an empty string.
Problem conclusion
This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 7 R1 SR1 (7.1.1.0) . The JVM has been updated to correctly track pointers returned by getenv.
