Error description

  • The getaddrinfo and inet_ntop functions fail when
given an IPv6 address string containing a scope
or zone specification.  This specification
consists of a percent sign ("%") followed by a
string at the end of the IPv6 address.  The result
is that applications such as ssh work with standard
IPv6 addresses but fail when a scope or zone is
appended to the same IPv6 address.
