IV56894: WEBSPHERE MQ CONNECTIONNAME FIELD IS INCORRECTLY NULL PADDED

Error description

• A WebSphere MQ message exit may receive channel data
  containing a ConnectionName which is null padded rather than
  blank padded.
  
  This may cause errors in any message exit application logic
  which relies on the ConnnectionName being blank padded.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  APAR IV24845 introduced a change which compared connection names
  to ensure that the same channel could not be started twice. As
  part of the logic used to make this comparison, the associated
  variables were trimmed of blanks. This change was made directly
  to the connection name in the channel definition and so when
  this definition was passed to a channel exit, it was null-padded
  rather than blank-padded.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code was changed so that copies of the relevant fields were
  taken and these were used for the comparison rather than
  directly changing the fields in the channel definition.
