Problem summary

  • The problem is caused by a memory leak in the jvm code that
deals with classloading when shared classes is enabled. The
memory leak occurs only during an error condition in the code
that creates class path entries in the shared classes cache. The
Snap trace records that indicate that such an error condition is
occuring, are listed in the 'Error description' section.

Problem conclusion

  • This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
       6 SR16 (6.0.16.0)
