APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When eTAI is configured to use iv-user header only and the
WebSEAL user name has a space in it, by default WebSEAL will
encode the space as %20. eTAI will attempt to process this
header value without URL decoding it, this will obviously fail.

Local fix

  • un the WebSEAL junction with the -e utf8_bin option, which
changes the way WebSEAL sends header values so as to not URL
encode them.

Problem summary

  • As per the WEBSEAL default settings, IV-USER header is encoded.
ETAI was not decoding the IV-USER header before using it. Added
the code to decode IV-USER header.
These fixes will be available on Integration factory with next
official eTAI image.
