Error description

  • In rare cases CAA consumers, such as RSCT Group Services, may
experience repeated ETIMEDOUT errors from the interface_query()
function on a node while it is joining the cluster, and this in
turn may prevent cluster applications from starting on the node
after it joins the cluster.

  • In rare cases CAA consumers, such as RSCT Group Services, may
experience repeated ETIMEDOUT errors from the interface_query()
function on a node while it is joining the cluster, and this in
turn may prevent cluster applications from starting on the node
after it joins the cluster.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Corrected a simple logic error in the cluster kernel extension
to enable it to correctly handle message retransmission to
nodes that have not yet changed to the UP state.
