Error description

• PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  TSAM 7.2.2.2 with VMware Additional Disk extension 1.0.1.1: Add
  disk and modify disk operations fail on Windows if the Admin
  account password is changed manually in the VM
  
  PERFORMANCE ISSUE: NO
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1) Provision windows VM.
  2) Change Administrator password manually from VM.
  3) Perform an add disk operation (for example), workflow fails
  with an authorization fail error:
  ' COPDEX219E Cannot connect ot the target computer
  xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx using SSH.'
  
  CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULTS: add disk or modify disk fail with
  above mentioned error
  
  EXPECTED RESULTS: add or modify disk complete successfully
  
  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  Corresponding workflows need to use the existing RSA SAP instead
  of creating a new password SAP, this is the issue per client
  
  ENV: TSAM 7.2.2.2 with Additional Disk Extension version 1.0.1.1

  Automation Manager 7.2.2.2 / 7.2.3 / 7.2.4
  

Problem conclusion

• Initially SAP credentials were been used for all windows VM
  operations. And hence if windows password is changed manually
  all operations on windows VM were failing.
  As a fix we are storing windows password in cygwin , and using
  the same for additional disk related operations.
  
  For permanent resolution apply VMWare Additional Disk Extension
  v1.0.1.2 on Tivoli Service Automation Manager 7.2.2.2 / 7.2.3 /
  7.2.4 when it will be available on ISML.
