Local fix

  • Use '/' slash while specifying the file path.

Problem summary

  • Jar tool is unable to extract the specified file from Java 6.0
SR8 onwards when '\' is used in file path. In Java 6 SR8 , a new
method was introduced to replace the file separator that was not
working as expected.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
6.0.0 SR12
6.0.1 SR4
7.0.0 SR5
.
JDK is updated to replace the file separator properly.
