ar: Error 0
ar: 0707-106 Internal error while reading the fixed

  • trustchk -a will report "ar: 0707" error
when file name contains the sub-string "archive":

# trustchk -a /tmp/myarchive123
ar: Error 0
ar: 0707-106 Internal error while reading the fixed
    header of archive file /tmp/myarchive123.

    



Problem conclusion
