Error description
PROBLEM: the UI is not getting refreshed after selecting the value from the table domain in this scenario when resetchildren is used PERFORMANCE ISSUE: no STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1) User creates a change record by clicking on the New Button 2) User goes to the CI tab: Under the Source CI section user clicks on the New Row 3) User clicks on the lookup to choose the CI: 4) User selects the CI, the dialog closes but looks as below: 5) Selected CI shows up after clicking again on New Row to add another CI or moving between the tabs CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT: selecting a value into a field does not populate the field until after you hit New Row again, or click on another tab or Save the record. EXPECTED RESULT: After selecting a value for a row, the value shows up in that row. ADDITIONAL INFO: some set up info: Something changed in Maximo 7.5. resetchildren in this same set up used to work correctly in Maximo 7.1.1 We did a remote session with our customer and this is what we found: - In App Designer customer is using the "resetchildren" setting on the Change Event property of the Table Column. - Before 75, this would refresh the table and all other tables with related MBO's - Now in 75, if set to "resetchildren" it does not update the current table until a Save is done. - In 75 and before 75, if set to "refreshtable" then it correctly refreshes that table but not all other related tables. As expected. ENVIRONMENT: SCCD 75 MBS 7502 Base Language: English Additional Language: none
