Error description
When changing the cec assignment the old cec nim object doesn't remove the client from it's manages list. This can lead to multiple cec nim objects managing the same client. While the client only references the latest cec object.
Local fix
Remove the client from nim and readd it.
Problem summary
Symptoms are: # alt_rootvg_op -Cw <IFIX> -l <LOCATION> fails with ----- Rebuilding boot image ... 0301-168 bosboot: The current boot logical volume, /dev/hd5, does not exist on /dev/hdisk0. emgr: 0645-007 ATTENTION: /usr/sbin/bosboot returned an unexpected result. emgr: 0645-102 Error rebuilding boot image. emgr: 0645-101 Error during reboot processing.
Problem conclusion
Solution is to pass emgr the -b flag from geninstall so that the boot image is not created but an ATTENTION will be displayed so that the bosboot command can be invoked manually.
