Error description

  • There is a memory leak in the amqzlaa0 process whenever the
    topic status is inquired for a topic string that contains a
    wildcard character. For example, running the following runmqsc
    command will result in memory being leaked.
    
    DISPLAY TPSTATUS('#')

    All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows)

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    Memory was allocated during the parsing of the topic string
    containing the wildcard character, but wasn't freed once the
    parsing was complete.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Once parsing of the topic string is complete, the memory is
    freed.
