Error description

  • Error Description
You have the CICS Explorer connected to a 4.2 Server and have
sorted one of the columns in a view.
You disconnect from the 4.2 server and then connect to a 4.1
server. When you select a scope for the data you want to view,
you receive a CNX0594E: Error Bad Request(400). This is because
the CICS Explorer has remembered that the column was sorted and
automatically sends a sorted request to the 4.1 server which
    does not support Sorted results.
The CICS Explorer should detect that it is connected to a 4.1
server and not send a sorted request.
    Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): KIXREVWJB

Local fix

  • Local Fix￘
Unsort the column before connecting to a 4.1 server.
