  • BitSet operations slower on IBM 6.0 JDK with most of time being
used in cardinality method

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
6.0.0 SR11
6.0.1 SR4
7.0.0 SR3

JDK is updated to improve the performance of BitSet operations.
.
The fix involved changes on both Oracle Class Library and
Harmony components. The Harmony changes were incorporated
through APAR IV22934.
