IV21421: UNABLE TO CHANGE DEFAULT VALUE FOR THE RESERVATION TYPE IN MAXIMO 75

APAR status

Error description

• In Maximo 75 one is not able to change the default value of the
  Reservation Type for work plan materials.
  
  Steps to reproduce the issue.
  
  1. Bring up Database Configuration, WPMaterial object.
  
  2. Find the RESTYPE attribute, once found set the default value
  to hard. Save the entry and now apply the changes as needed.
  
  Once done create a new work order and move to the materials tab,
  press new row. Noticed that the reservation type is still
  Automatic and it did not update to Hard as it should.

Problem conclusion

• <This is fixed in code. In the add() method of WPMaterial
  object, it should not hard-code AUTOMATIC for RESTYPE when
