Error description

  • svmon -P command hangs or takes a lot of time to return.
Especially when system is having lot of NFS mounted
filesystems and NFS open files.

Problem summary


    

  • If the system has lot of NFS mounted filesystems and NFS open
files, svmon -P command hangs or takes a lot of time to return.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Made code changes to update gnode whenever applicable, so that
time consuming searches are avoided.
