  • Use the option directly on the commandline rather than in the
options file.

Problem summary

  • The '-versbosegc' option is not mapped to the '-verbose:gc' when
included in an options file.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
7.0.0 SR1
6.0.0 SR11
6.0.1 SR2
.
The JVM has been modified to map '-verbosegc' to '-verbose:gc',
even when used in an options file
