Error description

  • Maximo 628

    Steps to replicate:

I was able to Replicate the following Steps on a Maximo 628 Base
    environment with no IS installed

    Test:

    1.Open a work order (1002)
    2. actuals tab
    3. add a task
    4. copy and paste the WO Description (I used the keyboard CTRL+C
    ,
clicked New Row and and Ctrl+v into the Task Summary field)and
    clicked
    New Row
    5. first line worked and Saved my Description when i clicked on
    New Row

    6. On this Row i used the mouse to paste it instead of the
    CTRL+V and it
    shows
up on the line but when you click the new row button it
    disappears.

    Example:

Copy the header description field. GO to actuals create a task
    work and
paste the description in the summary field. It does not seem
    to know
where to focus or buffer the data then we you attempt to save.
Paste the text and save the record - does not work
Paste the text and insert a space in the field after it - it
    does save
Paste the text and use the tab key out of the field - does not
    save it
Use the keyboard Ctrl - V to paste and save the record it works
    every
    time.
There seems to be a get focus and something to do with the
    pasting
function when using the mouse option after using the save
    function.
