Error description

  • SSO not working consitently for citrix published - Web

    Customer is experiencing issues with remote Citrix published
    -Web type
    applications that have been profiled for in Citrix 4.5
    presentation
    server-32 bit. AA 8.1.2 is installed on the Citrix server with
    IE 8.
    
    This issue is seen on any web application that they have
    profiled for.
    In comment #2, we used their profiled web app for
    example.
    
    The issue is that sometimes the ESSO will work fine for SSO
    functions
    and sometimes it does not work at all.
    
    This issue is replicated from a Vista 32 bit workstation but not
    in
    Windows XP machine.
    
    Steps to Duplicate: 1) Customer created citrix published app -
    Web type
    applications.(they are profiled)
    
       2) In Vista, User remote accesses those Citrix published web
    apps
    that will launch IE 8
    
                                      3.) Sometimes, eSSo works but
    sometime
    ESSO failed.
    
    
    
    Desired Behavior: Single sign on should work.
    
    Environment: TAM ESSO v8.1.2, Citrix Presentation 4.5 32 bit,
    romote
    desktop Vista.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • AccessAgent data packages were dropped when the ICA channel
    buffer was temporarily full. This lead to single sign-on
    failure.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been addressed in an AccessAgent iFix
    (aa8.1.2.0038) available on request from support.
