Local fix

  • It can work around excluding the affected methods from JIT
compilations via -Xjit:exclude options.

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused by a bug in the System z code generator,
where the live range for an int variable, which is being
compared to a long variable, is incorrectly tracked.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
7.0.0 SR1
6.0.1 SR2
6.0.0 SR11
5.0.0 SR14
.
The JIT compiler has been updated to address this problem.

Install build 20111026 or later
