IV07739: MATRECTRANSID IS MISSING IN THE MATRECTRANS TABLE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When creating an Asset into an Operating Location then moved to
  a
  Storeroom
  using the Select Action we get all the AssetTrans info but we
  are not
  seeing anything in MatRecTrans.  The odd part is on the
  AssetTrans
  record it shows a
  MatRecTransID but when queried it returns no results?
  
  1) Create a Rotating Asset in Operating Location.
  
  2) Create an Inventory Shell in a Storeroom in a different site.
  
  3) Move the Rotating Asset using the Select Action options on
  the Asset
  screen to a Storeroom Location in a different site.
  
  4) Query the AssetNum in the AssetTrans table and note the
  MatRecTransID.
  
  5) Query the MatRecTrans table and you will not be able to find
  the
  MatRecTransID that was on the AssetTrans table.

  Business impact ( BusImpact )
  This problem makes it difficult to follow the trail of inventory
  transactions from the application front end, reducing user
  confidence
  in data integrity and placing us at increased risk for findings
  of
  deficiencies from auditors.
