IV04179: NIM SHOWLOG OPERATION MIGHT LIST THE WRONG LAST ENTRY AS JAN 1 APPLIES TO AIX 5300-12

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• NIM showlog command might list the wrong last entry as
  Jan 1 although there is later entry.
  # nim -o showlog -a log_type=script <NIM client name>
  It can happen when the local time zone is ahead of
  UTC(GMT) and any entry is logged between the local
  time Jan 1 and UTC Jan 1. and any entry is logged
  between the local time Jan 1 and GMT Jan 1.

Problem summary

• nim -o showlog -a log_type=script <NIM client name> will
  return an incorrect entry from Jan 1
  

Problem conclusion

• In the showlog script prepend the trailing UTC year to the
  front of the sorting string so that the sort for last entry is
  only based on UTC datetime.
