APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • rmuser -p <username> shows warning
"Error 0x16 occurred.Warning: User (<username>) Keystore
not removed."
If Encrypted File System (EFS) is activated and
authentication method
LDAP is not defined.

Local fix

  • add stanza

LDAP:
        program = /usr/lib/security/LDAP
        program_64 =/usr/lib/security/LDAP64

to /usr/lib/security/methods.cfg

Problem summary

  • rmuser -p <username> shows following warning message,
When Encrypted File System (EFS) is activated and
authentication method LDAP is not defined.
"Error 0x16 occurred.Warning: User (<username>) Keystore
not removed."

Problem conclusion

  • Added a condition that, if LDAP module is not configured on
that system, it should not check for user keystore on LDAP
database.
