classes cache may not be loaded by subsequent invocations of the
JVM, which may result in poor start-up performance.

Problem summary


    

  • When running on z196, AOT methods may not be loaded in
subsequent JVM instances due to failed platform compatibility
against the shared classes cache.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This defect will be fixed in:
6.0.1 GA FP1
.
The JVM has been updated to properly perform the platform
compatibility tests for z196 on shared classes cache.

To obtain the fix:
Install build 20110303 or later
