APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Problem description: The error like "        FRWSL0006E A
  reference to an object is invalid. The object no
  longer exists or is in a disconnected TMR.." will be input in
  the tivoli.cinstall log file, and the output of the command
  "wlsinst -a" will be like " FRWSL0009E The incorrect type of
  data was passed from a client to an object: FRWSF0018E ADR
  decode tag error
  This could have resulted because the arguments passed to idlcall
  do not match the arguments required by the object's method or
  there is an internal
   programming error."
  Recreate steps:
  (1) installed the TMF 4.1.1 on the solaris 5.9
  (2) Install the patches on this TMR.
         Tivoli Framework Patch 4.1.1-LCF-0038
         Tivoli Framework Patch 4.1.1-LCF-0055
         Tivoli Framework Patch 4.1.1-TMF-0095
         Tivoli Framework Patch 4.1.1-TMF-0104
  (3) upgrade the Tivoli Management Framework 4.1.1 to 4.3.1
  (4) install the patch Tivoli Framework Patch 4.3.1-TMF-0005 and
  Tivoli Framework Patch 4.3.1-LCF-0002
  (5) installed the MN on the target system with the command like
  :
        wclient  -d -c /tivf18/product/fwork/4.3.1/tmf431-01 -p
  tivsun11-region -I -P tivhp12
  

Local fix

• The debug module has been send to customer which works fine.
  

Problem summary

• This is the bug of the code to handle the install password
  option. The code has been corrected.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix will be included in the next 4.1.1 and 4.3.1 TMF GA
  patch.
