APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In IBM Storage Insights, users may encounter probe failure
    errors for FlashSystem and Storwize devices. Even after
    restarting the probe, the failure persists.
    
    This behavior has been observed in environments where the data
    collector installation directory contains a path such as
    C:\Disks\Cloud_DataCollector, with additional disk directories
    preceding the Cloud Data Collector path.
    

Local fix

  • Please ensure that the installation directory does not include
    the word disks. Install the data collector in a different
    path.
