APAR status

Error description

  • The Redis request node is unable to complete connection
    discovery due to connection failure error when the server CA
    field is not provided in the connection details.
    The error will be similar to "The account with ID
    "rediscache~{Redis}:Redis1" for the "Key" object can't be found
    or is invalid.
    Ensure that you've provided a valid account ID."

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V13.0 using Redis
    Request node.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    WinX64, LinuxX64
    
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The connection discovery of Redis request node will fail with
    the error "The account with ID for the object can't be found or
    is invalid" if the server CA is not provided even though its an
    optional field.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The product has been modified so that the connection discovery
    passes even if the optional field server CA is not provided.
