IT48674: PCOMM V15.0.2 (64BIT) - JAPANESE FONT (MS MINCHO-REGULAR) TTF FONT DISPLAYING SIDE MARGINS

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After upgrading PCOMM to v15.0.2 (64bit) from PCOMM v13.0.0, a
  Japanese user screen display of 5250 appears different.
  
  In v13.0.0, their business program screen display appears to
  have just "little" margins (almost nothing) on the left and
  right, when the screen is Maximized. The font style appears to
  be horizontally elongated or stretched like how they wanted it.
  
  However, on their new v15.0.2 setup, the font appears to be
  neater and no longer horizontally elongated. And as a result,
  the left and right margins appear to be wider now which they do
  not like.
  
  The font settings they have for both old and new setup are just
  the same: "MS MINCHO-Regular"

Problem summary

• Steps to recreate the problem
  1. Create new session
  2. Connect to any host
  3. Save the session
  4. Open the saved session (.ws file) and add the below keyword
  
  [DBCS]
  TextFitMaxWindow = Y
  
  5. Launch the saved .ws file
  6. Fonts appear more refined and not properly proportioned,
  resulting in wider left and right margins.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code Changes has been done in PCSFONT module to handle the
  TextFitMaxWindow keyword behavior
