• When calling a Stored Procedure in  PostgresSQL the placement of
  an argument within the stored procedure causes it to error.

  parameter(s) following output parameter(s).

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When calling a PostgresSQL stored procedure where input
  parmeter(s) follow output parameter(s) you may receive the
  following error message; [IBM][ODBC PostgreSQL Wire Protocol
  driver]Invalid character value.
  

Problem conclusion

• An updated DataDirect PostgreSQL ODBC driver is supplied that
  resolves the issue
