IT48501: IBM STORAGE PROTECT SERVER HALTS AFTER ANR0130E MESSAGE DUE TO REORG OF LARGE TABLES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If IBM Storage Protect Server was manually configured, then the
  online reorg of large tables is not disabled by default.
  
  If an online reorg of large tables is running, it may cause the
  logs to fill up. This may further result in the server halting
  itself.
  
  The actlog will show message as follows:
  2025.07.02 15:46:53 ANR0130E tbrsql.c(1680): Server LOG space
  exhausted.
  2025.07.02 15:46:53 ANR0162W Supplemental database diagnostic
  information:
  -1:57011:-964 ([IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUXX8664]
  SQL0964C The transaction log for the database is full.
  SQLSTATE=57011).
  
  If IBM Storage Protect Server was configured using config
  wizard, then the online reorg of large tables is disabled by
  default.
  
  
  Check if the tables are listed as disabled in online reorg by
  running the following command in dsmadmc:
  Q OPT DISABLEREORGTABLE

• Disable reorg of large tables using the DISABLEREORGTABLE
  option.
  To use the DISABLEREORGTABLE option, you must halt the server,
  then update the options file with value:
  DISABLEREORGTABLE BF_AGGREGATED_BITFILES,BF_BITFILE_EXTENTS,BAC
  KUP_OBJECTS,ARCHIVE_OBJECTS
  and then restart the server.
