APAR status

Error description

  • When a User-defined Node is present in a static library, the BAR
file is created successfully but the deployment fails with the
following error:
BIP1360E: Message flow node 'GetPolicyProperties',
'LIB_Test_Static.GetPolicy#FCMComposite_1_1'
in message flow 'LIB_Test_Static.GetPolicy' in StaticLibrary

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise v12 and v13 who deploy
flows containing user-defined nodes (UDNs) within subflows that
are part of a static library.


Platforms affected:
LinuxX64, WinX64

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Deploying a message flow containing a user defined node within
subflows that are part of a static library fails with the
following error:
BIP1360E: Message flow node
'GetPolicyProperties',
'LIB_Test_Static.GetPolicy#FCMComposite_1_1' in message flow
'LIB_Test_Static.GetPolicy' in StaticLibrary

Problem conclusion

  • The product now successfully deploys a message flow containing a
user defined node that is within subflows that are part of a
static library.
