Error description
In the 'Append/Overwrite' browse dialog of the "Print-to-Disk" Setup, the existing files can be selected and if the filename provided by user doesn't exist, then a message indicating that the file doesn't exist is shown but a new file is not created with the print data.
Local fix
Problem summary
In case of 'Append/Overwrite' when the given file doesn't exist then the application doesn't append or overwrite as it validates the file existence, instead of creating a new file. Steps to recreate the problem: 1. Launch any Display/Printer session. 2. Navigate to the File menu and select "Printer Setup". 3. Select "Print to Disk" from the Printer lists and then click on "Setup". 4. Choose either the "Append" or "Overwrite" option, then click "Browse" and type a filename that does not currently exist.
Problem conclusion
The changes have been made in the PCSPD module to allow file creation when the specified file does not exist.
