Error description
The user installed PCOMM using the "All Users Common Application Data Folder" option. Then they used the Preferences Manager (userpm.exe) to point it to a custom folder that they want to use to store their config files, both for PCOMM and FTP Client. However, when they launch the FTP Client and do a File > Open to access their (*.cfg) files, they noticed that the default opening location is not the custom folder that they defined in the Preferences Manager. But instead it is pointing to - "C:\ProgramData\IBM\Personal Communications\FTP".
Local fix
Problem summary
While we change the profile directory in preferences, The FTP client utility does not match with the updated directory path for the "Open/Save as" dialog for config file. Even if we select the customize option while installation it is not matching with the customized path location. Steps to recreate the problem: 1.Launch FTP client Utility. 2.File menu -> Open/Save As 3.Verify the directory path for "Open/Save As" dialog.
Problem conclusion
The changes are made in PCSFTP to match the profile directory path for config file while we perform the "Open/Save as" operation in FTP Client utility. Note: With the latest implementation, the default path for the config file for both "open" and "save as" dialogs will now be matched to 'profile directory\\FTP'.
